Our Approach
We have our fingers on the pulse. Our unparalleled local information networks enable us to extract granular ground-truths and deliver actionable insights. However, we like to distinguish between what we See, Hear, and Feel.
This analytical tradecraft developed over decades of experience in the region enables us to deliver nuanced insights. We believe this is essential given the complexity and fluidity of the MENA region’s threat landscape and challenges related to misinformation/disinformation.
Our clients trust that the information we provide is reliable, has been cross-checked, fact-checked, and has undergone layers of analysis before it reaches their desks.
We prioritise what we See on the ground. With a network of over 100 primary local sources across the region, we remain committed to only covering countries and cities where we have preferential access to on-the-ground truths. This is our commitment to our clients. Whilst we understand the importance of Open-Source, we rely primarily on local sources.
See.
When we can’t see it, we tell you what we Hear on the ground. We believe this is essential in a region where rumours may contain some truths, and vice versa. Not only do we report what is heard, but we tell you why it matters. We believe this critical step is often overlooked in our industry.
Hear.
The third and final step is our forward-looking insights. We do not have a crystal ball and cannot predict the future. However, our analysts will always give you their Feel for the collected information. We like to keep it simple by never exceeding a timeframe of 0-6 months when providing plausible scenarios to ensure we remain relevant.
Feel.
“We were born out of a belief that the majority of providers in our industry have either become too large or too academic to listen to their clients’ real information needs. We want to change that. Our mission is to be granular and help you navigate today’s information-saturated world.”
